Afternoon Sun

Dress - Vintage
Brooch - Vintage
Stockings - eBay
Shoes - Op-shop Find

It is a gloomy Sunday here today, however, when it is a sunny day we get the most wonderful sun around our house and we make sure that we embrace it! It is definitely enjoyable during winter to soak up the sun whilst having a cup of tea on the balcony... My dogs  don't waste any time as they relax in the sun and occasionally bark at other dogs passing by, the cat sits with them too and watches the world go by (or they all just sleep).

I bought this dress early last year and always forget about it... So last week I decided to wear it again! The floral brooch is an op-shop find and the lovely flower is from my front yard - it was a very floral day indeed.

Photos from my recent photoshoot with my talented friend Renee! Emphasis of these photos is on the amazing jeans! They are my go to jeans for Autumn and Winter. They are so flattering and very comfy!!! I made this top a few months ago and it has a matching gingham skirt - I will blog the full outfit in the warmer seasons. And I have been wanting a good excuse to wear these shoes since I first bought them!

A Nautical Cardigan at the Waterfront

Cardigan - Hell Bunny via Valencia's Closet
Dungarees - Bernie Dexter
Sunglasses - Pared Eyewear
Wedges - Op-shop

Waterfronts are so peaceful, there are so many beautiful waterfronts around and I enjoy every moment that I spend by them, yesterday afternoon was warm and relaxing.

I recently bought this adorable cardigan after wanting it for so long and it is amazing! The knit-fabric is soft and the quality is amazing! It is the perfect addition to my surroundings, it goes perfectly with almost everything.

Here's to many more sunny days spent by the water!!

Mini me with a matching dress!

A couple of months ago I made a mini version of one of my favourite Hell Bunny dresses for the Hell Bunny Rag magazine competition... I made it last minute before the competition ended! I would have loved to have gone out and bought smaller gingham to make it but I was lucky I had some similar scrap fabric laying around. I was super excited to see that it was featured in their latest edition!

There were lots of great Hell Bunny inspired dresses made by other Hell Bunny fans and it was so much fun to be a part of it!

It's not perfect but I'm happy with it and now Barbie looks really sweet sitting on my sewing table!

I was also featured in the Hell Bunny Hall of Fame section which was a lovely surprise! See the full outfit post that was featured here.

You can read The Hell Bunny Rag magazine here! It's a great publication full of interesting articles and great pictures!

Bondi Outfit Part 3/3

Dress - Trashy Diva
Shoes - I Love Billy

My last lot of outfit photos from my weekend away with Max! I adore this amazing dress by Trashy Diva that I bought at the start of the year. It was the perfect choice of dress for the windy sea breeze at Bondi Beach and the colours are just so vibrant! I wore the same heels as I only had room to pack a couple of pairs of shoes and these are pretty reliable (and comfy)... I also packed a pair of flats as they are essential!

There is one outfit I did not get a chance to get photos of but have already worn it a number of times this Autumn and Winter so far...  It is one of my favourite outfits at the moment during the cold seasons so expect to see it soon (the jeans, vintage cardigan and red beret combo - you may have seen a photo of it in my first little post about this particular weekend).

I have had a few exciting photoshoots with my friend and will hopefully be able to share the photos soon!
