Cherries | Bernie Dexter

Cherry Ruby Twist Dress - Courtesy of Bernie Dexter (Get it here)!
Shoes - Novo
Cherry Earrings - Louella Deville

I love a good wiggle dress and I have fallen in love with this dress, I didn't have a cherry dress until now so it meets all the marks!

From the adjustable twist-tie, the cut-out feature, to the boning in the bust and the fabulous fit, it is just perfect! I am wearing size small and found it to be a flattering and comfortable fit.

I see it as a dress I can wear all year round, winter is just around the corner... It would look great with back-seam stockings, a red cardigan and a coat over top! I would even wear my red beret with it.

Yellow | Sun Jellies

Swimsuit - Red Dolly Swimwear
Swimcap - Sirens Swimwear (past season)

I am super excited about the new range of Jelly Totes by Sun Jellies, you may remember my previous blog post featuring the Alice Jelly Bag.

The new tote bag is much bigger and has a real 60s vibe to it, I instantly had to take it to the beach with my white swimsuit and style it with my yellow floral swim cap! Again, my dogs Fifi and Leo highly approve of this new Sun Jellies bag!

The Sun Jellies tote bags features a gorgeous atomic star pattern, a handle clasp and the flat base allows it to stand upright. It is very well constructed and allows me to fit a lot of stuff into it! I will be taking it with me to a rockabilly festival this week since it is so roomy and will match my outfit. It also comes in pink and blue! I packed my towel, put my shoes inside, sunglasses and carried my waterbottle for this beach trip. This was then followed with fresh carrot, watermelon, apple and ginger juice at the surf life saving club cafe.

I'm really into yellow at the moment so this was a must, I just bought myself a new yellow towel and bathroom accessories (which I found to be very exciting haha). So yellow is very in for me at the moment, I never used to wear or buy yellow clothes and accessories ver often but it has suddenly become a favourite!

You can find Sun Jellies on their Website/Facebook/Instagram/Twitter

BBQ Babe

Shoes - I Love Billy

Bernie Dexter was very kind to send me some things to blog, I have been wearing her clothing for a few years now and always love to see the latest designs.

I just adore this playsuit set and find the Barbecue print to be very relevant to my lifestyle... My family and I BBQ at least once a week at home! It's fun to get out to the park or a beach and have good food with family and friends too.

This two piece set is very well constructed, the Trixie Top has boning in the bust and elastic in the back which creates great structure and support. The skirt has a back zip and pockets and is extremely comfortable. The fabric is soft to wear, but holds it's shape and the Mid Century BBQ print is really vibrant. I am wearing size small in both the top and skirt.

I have another Trixie skirt and always like to wear it with a simple black or white t-shirt to mix things up, this skirt would look cute with a long sleeve sweater too now that I'm starting to go into Autumn.

Frenchie

Dress - Bernie Dexter
Cardigan - Collectif
Shoes - Spendless Shoes
Beret - Gift (From Paris)
Necklace - Vintage

The Frenchie style dress is one of my favourites and I just love the Eiffel Tower print. It is starting to get cooler now... Though this can quickly change to be warm again. I love pairing my summer dresses with cute cardigans and accessories when it starts to get chilly... Soon enough I will be able to wear stockings again, yay!

I couldn't help but wear my beret with this dress a few days ago and of course it only seemed right to match my shoes and a necklace. This particular day it was cool in the morning and then it heated up a bit, so off the cardigan went. I also built up a sweat buying sweet potato and carrying it to the car, it was only 99cents a kilo, so I bought heaps of it to make pumpkin/sweet potato soup and vegetable pies!

Do you like to layer up summer dresses for Autumn and Winter? I do, otherwise I would miss wearing them!

Polka Dot Playsuit

Playsuit - PowderPuff Boutique
Shoes - Novo
Sunglasses - Pared Eyewear

As you may know, I absolutely love playsuits and they have been a staple piece in my wardrobe this summer. They a fun, practical and cute for my weekly beach and waterfront trips. If I don't go swimming I usually end up walking into the water with my dogs when they go for a dip, so the flirty length of a playsuit is ideal and serves a purpose for me!

I usually wear my flat sandals or wedges for a walk, however, I brought my new platforms to wear for a stop off at a cafe afterwards. They go so well with the playsuit and believe it or not they are extremely comfortable shoes. I imagine that my playsuit obsession will continue to grow, I can't help myself!
