Deadly Dame

Top - Vintage
Cigarette Pants - Deadly Dames
Shoes - I Love Billy
Sunglasses - Pared Eyewear
Bag - Vintage
Flamingo Brooch - Op-shop

I love a good classic outfit combination and these pants go perfectly with this top for a simple but interesting look. I think I blogged this look around this time last year but it was nice to have the outfit photographed by Renee! And of course I have worn it many times since then!

The weather has been rainy all week and I left my camera at my boyfriend's house so I am so thankful Renee got these photos back to me this week. Hopefully the weather clears up as I will be at the Fifties Fair this weekend!

1940s Dress and a White Picket Fence!

Dress - Trashy Diva
Shoes - I Love Billy
Stockings  - eBay

Last Sunday I went out with Max into town, afterwards we managed to snap some quick photos before going home, despite the weather being slightly overcast they turned out quite nice! As soon as I saw the white picket fence I knew that I needed my blog photos beside it.

As you all probably know I love Trashy Diva dresses and I adore this particular dress so much, it is a perfect 1940s style cute with the most beautiful print. I also have this dress in a different fabric print as well - I hope to blog it eventually. The fabric is soft and luxurious and it is amazing quality (comfortable too - yay)!

Pink and Purple!

Skirt - Collectif via The PinUp Gal
Boots - Kmart

I had always dreamed of this cardigan and was so excited to finally purchase it a couple of months ago! It looks amazing with skirts, jeans and over dresses... And this Collectif skirt goes perfectly with it too!

I have been on a mission to own more pretty cardigans that feature interesting details and have had success building up my own collection of various brands over the year. Buying separates instead of dresses has been a wardrobe goal too.

This skirt is flattering and a good design for winter. Sometimes I forget how much I love pencil skirts and wiggle dresses so I must wear and blog them more!

Lady in Red

Dress - Trashy Diva Americana Dress
Shoes - Target
Stockings - ebay

This fun photoshoot took place about a month and a half ago in the beautiful home of a friend of a friend... The house is modern looking on the outside but has been designed to look very mid-century on the inside.
The house was designed by the owner and built eighteen years ago... There will be a few more photo sets/different outfits coming to the blog from this particular day featuring different areas of the house -  I was drawn to the staircase and particular this chair for this outfit!

This amazing dress by Trashy Diva is beautifully designed and high quality (Something you can always expect from Trashy Diva). It is appropriate for most seasons which is always a plus! I feel as if I have the whole Betty Draper vibe going on when I wear it and I have no problem with that! I bought it earlier in the year and am so glad I did, it is a timeless dress and am happy that it has finally made it to the blog.

Photos by the wonderful Renee!

My New Blog Banner!

I am very excited to showcase my new blog banner! I asked my friend Renee if her partner would be interested in designing one with her assistance to get my concept across and I am very pleased with the result! I have made this post to show the progress of the banner and how it all came together...

I was very excited to have Leo and Fifi on the banner, they look so cute... It makes sense to have them on the banner as they are regulars on the blog!

Photo by Renee - Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival 2014

My favourite Bernie Dexter dress was chosen for the banner and the detail is just wonderful... Also featured on the banner is my favourite pair of sunglasses by Pared Eyewear.

And there we have it - An amazing new banner for the blog! It feels nice to have a positive change to my blog as I have been wanting to update it for so long!
I can't thank Drue and Renee enough for their hard work - it looks amazing!
